At Owl Be Watching - We are a dedicated team of professionals committed to safeguarding your home while you're away. Founded by Stieg and Sheila Hoeg, we bring a wealth of experience, professionalism, and a deep understanding of security and maintenance practices.

Stieg Hoeg has over 15 years of experience as the Airport Manager for Prince George Airport and over 30 years working with Canadian Airports. His role involved maintaining a complex facility, managing operations, and ensuring strict security protocols were followed—experience that directly translates to our home check services. His extensive knowledge of security processes, risk management, and coordinated inspections makes him uniquely qualified to provide thorough, trustworthy home monitoring.

Following his airport career, Stieg spent over 9 years with Tsey Keh Dene, first as the Housing and Maintenance Director and then took on the role as Executive Director. In these positions, he managed housing maintenance, property care, and infrastructure projects, further honing his skills in property management, maintenance, and ensuring safety. This experience directly relates to our ability to provide detailed home inspections, maintenance oversight, and property security.

Sheila Hoeg is an entrepreneur with a background in managing various businesses. Her focus is on providing exceptional customer service and attention to detail to ensure her clients receive the best service possible in everything she does. Her dedication to excellence and personalized approach complements our mission to deliver thorough, reliable, and professional home monitoring.

We also collaborate with a network of vetted contractors who have been carefully selected and approved by Stieg and Sheila. All contractors undergo thorough security checks, including criminal record checks, to ensure they meet our high standards for trustworthiness and security.

Our team will provide you with all the necessary information and documentation for you to give to your insurance company, prior to your departure and while your home is unoccupied.
